June 9: "Food From Here" photography show opens! Join us at Chthonic Clash Coffeehouse in Beacon (453 Main Street) for the premiers of photographic works done by City Seeds participants. Event begins at 6:30pm. At 8pm, spoken word artists Climbing Poetree will perform. Join us to celebrate the creativity and vision of our teens!

July 25: City Seeds' Second Annual Community Meal -- held at the Family Partnership Center in Poughkeepsie. The community is invited to celebrate our youth and enjoy a meal grown and prepared by City Seeds participants. These young leaders will share more about the City Seeds project and their own perspectives on local food and community.

August 3: "Eat In, Act Out" event at the Poughkeepsie Farmers' Market.

August 5: "Eat In, Act Out" event at the Beacon Farmers' Market. From 10-4pm Green Teens will be doing food demos, home composting instruction, and showing the community how everyone can Eat In and Act Out! Green Teen has also teamed up with Beacon We Can! to bring you a day of health information. Come down to hear who has won the We Can Grow! garden contest.
